June Business Breakfast Wrap Up

June was a vibrant month for Woombye & Districts Community Bank® Branch as we gathered local businesspeople for our June Business Breakfast with the intention to foster conversation in support of strong community relationships and the growth of Woombye’s economy. Of course, nothing mustered our crowd more effectively than the promise of some of Woombye’s finest baked treats and coffee courtesy of the team at Woombye Bakery and Café.

With the number of likeminded businesspeople mingling in the same place at the same time, we took advantage of the opportunity to publicly introduce our new branch manager, Daniel Hausler, and farewell Hayley Saunders for her past three years of service to the Woombye community. Hayley played an integral role in the growth and achievements of Woombye Districts & Community Bank® Branch, seeing our trading improve to the point of declaring a maiden dividend in 2017, and again in 2018. Hayley has now returned to manage the Nambour branch of Bendigo Bank.

Dan joins us following many years of successful experience in service and sales industries, including nine years in the banking and finance sectors, and six years in mortgage lending. He brings a wealth of knowledge spanning finance, business development and people leadership that he’s eager to implement into banking that benefits our local Woombye community.

Dan is looking forward to meeting and working closely with the locals, so pop into the branch and say ‘hello’ the next time you’re nearby, or make sure you’re available when we bring the community together for our next Business Breakfast – stay tuned for the date and more details.
