It’s no secret we’re good with money at Woombye & Districts Community Bank® Branch, but we’re more interested in the good that money can do. In following our passion to create positive change within the community, we’re thrilled to announce our new and exciting long-term partnership with Sunshine Coast Challenge Golf in their mission to raise funds for charitable purposes on the Sunshine Coast.
For the past six months, we’ve worked in collaboration with Sunshine Coast Challenge Golf across a spectrum of events, raising money to provide our local community with aid and support for sick children and their families in times of need, including Sunshine Coast Challenge Golf’s $5,000 donation to Give Me 5 for Kids.
An initiative of Austereo, Give Me 5 for Kids is the radio network’s national fundraiser committed to the support of local children’s hospital wards across regional Australia for the last 25-years, raising an astonishing total of $25.9 million nationally to benefit over 40 children’s hospitals. It’s a magnificence achievement, and one we’re extremely proud to be a part of.
